The Supafly Interview

In this video, a partnership with Future Now, I got the chance to interview Toronto content creator Supafly (Chris Markland).

We go deep on why superhero narratives have stood the test of time, how they evolve to mirror society’s anxieties and hopes, and what happens when the line between hero and anti-hero starts to blur. Supafly also opens up about his personal journey — growing up without a father figure, finding moral blueprints in characters like Superman and Spider-Man, and a powerful encounter at a Walmart that changed the way he thinks about what it means to truly help someone.
